Saturday Menai Explorer
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
In the carpark of the large building with at the West end of Allies Rd (junction with Old Illawarra Rd). Anyone know what this building is, BTW?
Have to go down South again on Saturday so why not explore Menai while there?
Found a few MB activities that may help us find our way, take a look at these:

This last one in particular sounds promising - will put that in the Edge so we can follow it - this is what decided the meeting point.
See you there!

Christine, it's obviously been a while since you have ridden
that section of trail, or maybe your sense of smell / taste has been tainted by having 2 horses couped up on your little block of "paradise" for so long that you can niether smell nor taste the hint of horse sh%t in that water, that as Rob quite correctly points out, flows across the land uphill from the rock ledge. Guess what Blondie, that land is a horse paddock, go figure

Perisher DH?
I once heard a rumour that perisher was going to start doing DH in the summer... anyone know anything bout that?

Sparrow Hill

Will be driving down to the Snowies on this day, makes sense to stop at a Can'bra track on the way? I've never done Sparrow Hill so will go take a look.
Anyone in the vicinity (especially that actually knows where they are going ) please come along!
That said, if there's no tour guide available, will probably put this circuit in the Edge and follow it:

Stromlo Mish-mash

Moved to Sunday Jan 6 by popular demand
For those down in the Snowies the week before this will be a 'rest' stop on the way home.
Play it by ear, but imagine there will be both XC and DH on offer.

Wet and slippery......
Something that really got me was this big black bird with yellow under its wings - nearly came off. Getting twitchy watching all the good times. But A broken back means I have to sit and watch for nine mths.

Leisurely ride up the Oaks and St Helena's
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Hi,
As discussed previously I will be doing the Oaks this Sunday morning. Just found out that there are no trains running as well so there goes the cruisy ride up on the train!!! So i will probably go up the oaks (probably not all the way), maybe do St Helena's and then back down again.

Cable cam extreme downhill mountain bike

Tracks for Families
Hello All
1st time Blog.
New to MTB. Tried Manly Dam, it was sensational.
Then took my nine year old son along, ended up pushing two bikes up the big hills.
Question: Does anybody recommend any starter trails suited for kids?
Cheers
