Yellomundee Regional Park update for 27 May
Yellomundee survived last week's rain well and is in good condition.
Twelve volunteers from WSMTB & BMORC carried out further erosion control works on Saturday 25 May to make the tracks more sustainable. The first 300m from the race start area now has extra water bars and small zig-zags to shed water off the track.
Some weed control (lantana and wild tobacco) was also carried out, along with final section of edge trimming between the Quad Jumps and Hidden Bridge.
Should be great racing at the next WSMTB XC round on 2 June, and then two weeks later (16 June) at the JetBlack NSW All Schools XC.

Mogo Creek to Ten Mile Hollow Via Dubbo Gully Return
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Junction of Wollombi Road and Great Northern Road Mogo Creek
Had to change the date again due to a minor injury, Easy pace 50km ride down the GNR to Ten Mile Hollow and return via Dubbo Gully.
Might check out Blue Door Point Rd, I'm interested to see if it can be ridden all the way to Upper Mangrove Creek Rd
Kinross State Forest update for 27 May
Trails in great condition. Couple of big puddles on the fire trails but nothing that can't be avoided.
A really well groomed, looked after set of trails. Well done to all involved.

Long trail accident
To the rider who fell on long trail this afternoon, hope you recover well! Looked like a nasty fall.
Hope the ice packs were of use!

Penrose State Forest update for 26 May
Went to Wingello but there was a Ranger camped at the entrance to notify people the forest was closed till 4:30 - doh!
Went to Penrose. Couldn't believe how damp it was but no puddles apart from the normal ones so all green.
