Manly Dam update for 16 Feb
Given the recent rain, a sensible rider would first ask "are there any dry patches?" and the answer is "No."
So a sensible rider would not be riding.
The Dam is open and there are people riding.
If you elect to join them then expect to feel like a salmon splashing upstream and expect some slippery timber. It is heavy going across a lot of soft ground on the Allambie side. Also beware Curl Curl Creek which was running fast and deep this morning, and some trees down near Cootamundra Drive which have been cleared but still hang very close to the track.
Your bike will need a clean and some maintenance after your ride.
