Team Mate Wanted for Dungog 8hr and Paterson 8hr
I am 14 years old and am looking for a team mate to race with me in the Dungog and/or Paterson 8hr in Open pairs. I am fairly fit (I do about 200km a week on road + a mtb ride most weeks). I would prefer it to be a junior but doesn't really matter.
Where to ride around Lithgow
Hey guys I have a few days coming up in Lithgow and I'm keen to ride a few different trails, preferably single track.
Rydal - I'm pretty sure I will ride there due to the ease of the trail (the boy will like that).
Hassans Walls - The videos I've seen of Hassans Walls look good, but I'm not sure what the best trails are? I ride a 6" travel bike so a bit of rough descending is great but I also like XC.
Newnes/Newnes Plateau - What is the pick of the single track in Newnes/Newnes Plateau? And are the Enduro Loops XC Enduro or Gravity Enduro?
Who has right of way?
Hi there,
So I was in my car coming up to a round about. There is a bike lane on the left hand side that ends at the round about and continues on the other sided. I pass a cyclist leading up to the round about. I need to turn left so I put the indicators on. Sensing that the cyclist was not going to slow, I come to a complete stop. Cyclist rides through the round about without a care in the world. So the question is who has right of way in this situation?

I am looking at getting my girl a new bike as her $150 aldi special isn't doing it and her at 160cm on my large hard tail isn't great either so I am on the look out for a good deal on a new or used bike if you guys know of any around
Lane Cove National Park update for 19 Feb
Rode through from De Burgh's Bridge to the bottom of Conscript Pass today. Still a few damp bits, but otherwise good. The section upstream from the Devlin's Ck track is initially heavily scoured by the river overflow, and is pretty rocky and techy. The sections further upstream have been rock armoured and it's a bit like riding the cobbles on Paris - Roubaix. Creek crossings were all deep enough to get wet feet, but the water is clear and the lines OK on most of them.

Old Man's Valley update for 19 Feb
Rode a few laps there today in the middle of the day and it was fine. One small wet spot near the start and everything else was tacky to dry. Love that track! Well, the intermediate section anyway. The black stuff is a bit too gnarly for an old bloke like me on a XC bike....

Tough one at Mt Annan
This was the last race in the 4hr Summer Series and was to be held at Mt Annan. I really like the twilight format and was looking forward to this one.
Coming into this race I was sitting in equal 3rd place overall in the series (mainly due to some riders only doing 1 or 2 races). I had hopes of an overall 3rd place but knew it would be a big ask.
