garmin/strava problems
My last 4 rides won't upload onto strava and it's only showing my last ride as the 19/12/2012.
My garmin says different and is showing the four rides in its history.
I've tried quite a few times and strava wont pick anything up after the 19th.
I cleared all history a few weeks ago on the Garmin so i know there's no issue with it being full.
Any advice please?
For those that don't know me. I work with wood and computers are the Devils work so none of this Gpx file and tech talk with me please!

MERRY XMAS
PMBC would like to wish all its members and all mountain bikers in Australia a fantastic Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Thank you for your support in 2012, we look forward to seeing you at the races and on the trails in 2013.

Old Man's Valley (Hornsby) Post Christmas Fat Burner
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Dural St car park, between Dural Lane and Dural St, rear of corner of Dural St and Pacific Highway Hornsby
Assuming SNORC's twitter feed is accurate, the track is now open!
The reason for pickng this spot to park is to minimise noise impact on neighbours. Please do not park in Quarry Road until we get guidance on what's acceptable/expected from SNORC.
This trail is rated Blue (intermediate) with some Black (advanced) options. If you can handle all the descents at Manly Dam without walking you will be fine on the blue route, although the berms and bridges may mess with your head at first .

Kowen Forest update for 24 Dec
Did the 25Km loop and the 13km loop.
All good, some dry ruts at a couple of spots on the 25km loop section.
Kowalski's Sideshow and Beer Garden were probably the highlight they are just made to make you flow..........
Wildlife: Roos everywhere, crossing the tracks, quite often giving you a death stare, but probably not as well fed as the roos at Stromlo as there weren't that many roo poos

2012 - the year that was
Just noticed on Training Centre that today I ticked over the 5,000 km mark for the year. Well up from an injury-marred last year, slightly up from the year before. Feeling moderately fit and hoping my upcoming busy period at work isn't going to set me back too far.
I only did the one race this year (The Mont), hoping to do a few more in 2013.
Excited about the progress made on trail advocacy and hoping the momentum will continue to build. Who'd have thought last year that we'd get some world-class tracks built in the middle of suburban Hornsby in time for Christmas?

Stromlo Forest Park update for 23 Dec
Dry, dusty, fast and awesome
Take back my words that Stromlo are not rocky...
I did Loop 4 and found heaps of rocks
Wildlife report: lots of well fed roos, saw one that is as tall or taller than I am at 6' and roo poos scattered all over.

Bike Hire in Rotorua
Hey Guys,
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Rotorua to hire a decent MTB? Or maybe a guided tour?
I'll be in NZ with the family for a holiday & will only be able to manage a day riding, so I don't really want to haul my bike all over the place.
I like the idea of maybe doing a guided day tour too, since I'll be riding by myself - the family are not very keen & would rather do more touristy stuff.
I've seen http://www.mtbrotorua.co.nz/ & http://www.planetbike.co.nz/ but any advice would be grateful.
Cheers
