Ourimba fun
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here).
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where a there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB sign here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
Two or three laps, nothing too serious but not pedestrian either

Cash Traders
Hi all
After hearing a friend had his expensive DH bike stolen the other day I thought I would post what I consider strange.
I saw a Giant Glory DH0, perhaps 2008, in Cash Traders at DY with $3000.00 on it. If I needed to offload a bike of that calibre, it would not be somewhere like that.
Hope it helps anyone
Nathan

DW Training @ TH

Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
I usually do a road ride but need time in the saddle off road. Thinking Duck, Waratah, Elvina then Centre. I haven't done Elvina so not sure what this one is like.

Awaba ride on Saturday
Gauging interest in a ride at Awaba on Saturday.

clipless.....why....and what
Someone says to me after a 30km ride at Ourimbah , "ya gotta go clipless.." the question is, do I ? and if so, what type do i go for.
I ride techo stuff and the occasional xc style stuff. I am also booked to do three races this year. Will i miss my flat pedals ?

Appin fun
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North end of Burke St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Note that the map shows Market Street connecting Appin Rd to this location but that is actually a firetrail and will not work for drivers who should take King St (next block South) and enter from there.
This is posted as a social ride, i'm happy to stop to practice/play on the technical sections. I don't mind what pace we ride at.

Manly Dam update for 09 Apr
Went for a lap last night (8th April), majority of track is good but the single track along the golf course/parkway had numerous puddles and needs more time to dry out.

Anyone ridden Andersons Lately?
A very good evening to you all...
Has anyone ridden Andersons in the past few weeks?...i see that it was closed for sometime a few months ago and has recently reopened.
Have the bulldozers and clearers been at work and flattened it like they did with The Oaks? Particularly that couple of k's of gnarly downhill to Bedford Creek..is that still the same?
Cheers
Tom

mountain biking friendly flat/house
Hi!
First off, I am not really sorry for maybe an off topic... hmm..
I am a New Zealand citizen of Russian origin and am moving to Sydney to take up a permanent job IT. However, I am quite passionate about mountain biking and so I am wondering what would be an optimal area to live - closer to MTB trails and trains that take you to CBD. Any pointers/hints would be very much appreciated.
Moreover, if someone is looking for a really nice flatmate with a PhD in mathematics and a passion for mountain biking look no further - I am your perfect flatmate..
