The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Going with a mate for an early morning lap or 2 of Duckholes / Centre / reverse (should be mostly dry).
We leave from Terrey Hills shops/carpark at 6:15 am (morning) this Friday.
The more the merrier....
Seeing the morning mist rising over the Hawkesbury is a sight to behold.
See you there,
Hans

Manly Dam update for 03 Dec
Generally it was dry and in great shape. There was however quite a lot of standing water, mainly in the top section in all the usual places. There was also a burst water main at the very end of the loop as you come up the path to the Hydro Works. This area is extremely wet, but the water is 'clean' so if you go fast enough it should also clean your bike.
I haven't ridden the dam for a few weeks and noticed that Trail Fairies have been busy on the single track between the mini-roundabout and the Golf Club car park. There's now a fallen tree. It makes this bit of trail a bit interesting again

Non-shimano crankset
i've been getting by on some raceface evolve cranks on a Hope BB, but the middle chainring is rather shagged, and is misbehaving and skipping on certain chain lines and the inner ring is not far behind. Instead of buying new rings i am thinking i'll upgrade the crankset, but would keep the Hope bb.
To date, i've been running non-shimano for the sake of running non-shimano but it seems with cranksets they simply have the best product (XT or SLX) - steel/carbon middle rings and the pinch bolt setup to avoid excess loading of the bearings.
Firetrail
This trail appears to run further to NE.
