Warrimoo DH at risk
This morning, Trail Care met with representatives of Ku-ring-gai Council to discuss the popular downhill track adjacent Warrimoo Oval.
Various options and challenges were discussed, and Council will provide their decision to Trail Care in writing in the next couple of weeks.
Government ministers are failing the people and putting lives at risk
This should be of interest to everybody, not just those who ride to work in the city.
Ministers Gay and Constance today announced the demolition of the College St cycleway.
Their antipathy to cyclists is now on open display, on a day when, sadly, a fellow rider has lost their life after being run over from behind by an earthmoving truck and trailer in the eastern suburbs.

Manly Dam update for 27 May
It's a mess with still a lot of water and some deep mud in places. Seems to have got torn up pretty badly over the weekend.
The new work on the section above MHL has started also, so that whole section from Nyrang Rd to MHL is closed. You have to ride around it on the road.
There's also another small detour around the new playground between the two bridges at Cootamundra.
Not sure why it's open really - think I'll be looking elsewhere for the next week or two.

Where to ride in Port Macquarie
We are heading up to the GE race in Port Macquarie on this Sunday to race and have a Mondraker demo day, but we will be up there on the Saturday already and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good track for XC / all mountain type ride

Marramarra National Park update for 24 May
Rode Smugglers and back up Marramarra. All in good condition although the singletrack down Smugglers was beyond my capabilities.
