Lisarow to Ourimbah
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Lisarow Plaza car park Pacific Hwy Lisarow
Ride from Lisarow to Ourimbah, do a lap of the XC track then head back. Will be riding along, roads, cycle paths, fire trails and single track. It's about 50 - 60km easy pace.

Where to go this weeked
Hi,
Have ridden Wingello before and am going to be down in the area again this weekend. Was thinking of maybe trying another spot, or is Wingello the best place to go to get some km under the belt. Not looking for anything too technical.
The other benefit on Wingello is I'll be with the wife and kids who'll also be riding. They can do there own riding whilst I am off. Are the other places like this too?
Any advice appreciated.

North Haven/Bonny Hills
I've been riding the trails in and around North Haven and Bonny Hills this week and I'd just like to say thanks to all the local trails builders for their efforts, there are some really good trails about the place.
Also a plus one for the Laurieton Specialized store, they have helped me out a couple of times now and the service has been first rate.

Kowalski Classic 2015 - 20 Sept - Entries Now Open
Now in its fourth year, the Kowalski Classic is a one-day showcase of the famous trails in East Kowen Forest and Sparrow Hill. The event celebrates the achievements of local trail builders Paul Cole, Alan Anderson and the mysterious Kowalski Brothers, who together have hand built over 100km of flowing trail in East Kowen (the Kow) & Sparrow Hill (the Bird).
Love single track? Then you will love the Kowalski Classic.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 01 Jun
Rode on the 31st May - it was pretty wet. Also there was a club race on at the same time - we'd checked the CCO mtb website beforehand and there was nothing listed. Apparently the website is out of date so check their fb page instead. Still was a good ride - beware of the bridge after the magic carpet. Its still taking prisoners....

making my way to the snowies
So in the last week ive ridden coondoo(south nowra)Tilba to mystery bay,Tathra,East Jindy, cracken back and yesterday (sunday)Majura pines. The trails at majura are sensational,a real mix of flowing, fast and plenty of little kickers and berms and techy bits to keep everyone happy. The downhill tracks,Larry and Rocklobster are a blast, both ridable at most levels(my missus did a bloody quick run down rock lobster on a 100mm full susser and was grinning like an idiot at the bottom)-the faster you go,the hairier they get.Ive got to say we are pretty bloody lucky with the choices we have, and its only

Jealous sigh.....
While Canberra builds another 15km of awesome flow trails, Warringah Council still fail to properly manage 10km of Manly Dam or support Bare Creek.

I think it's time to run a pro mountain bike candidate against a few local councilors.
