Sun 16 July - SUAR!

Just a quick one... looks like I will be joining the SUAR guys on Sunday morning. This is an insanely early start in Fiddletown and will be quiet a serious deal.

Appologies to miss out on any local festivities, there might be something gentle planned on Saturday but I'm leaving that post to Justin Eye-wink

Cheers,

Rob

Rob's rings 2

While the act of replacing your cogs and chainrings is simple, knowing when to do so isn't. What constitutes a worn sprocket is measured in mere 100ths of an inch - not easy to see at a glance. Even worse, the consequences of doing the wrong thing in the drivetrain department can be very hazardous indeed. Luckily, all potential ugliness can be avoided with a little preventive maintenance.

Some of you might have noticed I've been busy messing about with maps and stuff. Chilling out this arvo I thought it would be fun to calculate the length of trails in the maps on NoBMoB (yeah, I know... sick!). Anyhow, didn't take that long so we're pleased to announce the total is...

Drum roll...

438Km of mapped trails!

Wow - not a bad effort at all... hope you're all enjoying them :)

There's the full break down of the distances in the rest of this article (hit 'Read more' if you haven't already).

Not really a ride - but a testy little hill to join up or tag onto others in the area.
