NPWS Warning for Bantry Bay
NPWS have erected a sign on the entrance to the Bluff fire trail advising to keep clear of this area this morning. they are flying in (weather permitting) the final bridge for the Eastern trail a.k.a. Ghana track.

Specialized Test the Best - Coming in January
Hi all
I know many of you love trying out / testing new bikes and different brands.
Well get prepared as this coming January, Specialized are organising one of the biggest demo / Test the Best events ever !
Based on rider feedback from previous events Specialized are planning to offer a more complete and enhanced rider experience than we have ever seen before. Great news for us all.
Planning is still being finalised but lock the following dates into your calendars.

I did a lap around Manly Dam today and included the extended loop.
Twice up the double step up
Not so fussed about the time - just happy to get around twice without unclipping. Just maybe the double step up before the trig track is now sorted.
Next stop faster time.......pretty even split today.
Manly Dam update for 17 Dec
Watch out for the boulder just before the Wakehurst Golf Course Road crossing. Not sure why but someone has tried to block the opening. There's already tracks around it so no dramas.
The rest of the track is great - only water is at the creek crossing with a bit of mud. The rest of the trail is dry.
A lot of loose, fist sized rocks along the Allambie single trail bit (before the grass verge above the hydro lab) - just part of the ever changing trail.
