Ghania closed for trail maintenance Sun 20th Nov
Ghania will be closed this Sunday 20th Nov for trail maintenance.
The closure will be from 7am however will not affect other trails in the area i.e. Serratta, Daisy Duke, Mistress, Manly Dam, Pickled Possum.
Bantry Bay update for 16 Nov
Ghania will be closed from 7am this Sunday (20th Nov) for trail maintenance. If all goes to plan this will be the first of regular maintenance days where riders will be able to help maintain the trail.

Frame size is large and I believe made in USA. Components are a mix of XTR/XT. (3x9) It is in good condition. Location is Waverley.

Anybody do the Fling this year? It's not even in the Calendar. I was hoping to read a few Fling exploits to ease the pain of missing it this year...

Wildflower Garden update for 14 Nov
The section from the western end where you cross from Cascades and head up to the Showground is closed temporarily while the energy authority puts in anti-erosion measures to protect their gas pipelines.
Pretty impressed that they recognise community use of their land instead of trying (unsuccessfully) to shut people out.
North of the Showgrounds including Muppets there are a fair few trees down across the trail at head height, so keep your eyes open. Otherwise mostly dry and in good nick.

Weather page
Not sure how many people use the weather page on NobMob but it's no longer working. I really found it useful, any chance it can be fixed/turned back on? Only if it's not too much trouble...
Shimano equivalents
Can anyone help me figure out a shimano (or quality non-SRAM) version of their X1 11 speed chain and sram 10-42t 11 speed xd cassette? Chain reacton and wiggle don't seem to stock sram anymore and I can't find these parts.

The Jetblack 24 Hour has been on the Rocky Trail calendar since 2009 - we've raced around the clock at a holiday resort, a botanic garden and a winery and for the next one we're going bush.
The 2017 edition of the JetBlack 24 Hour will be held at Awaba MTB in the Olney State Forest the home track of the Hunter MTB Association! Race for 24 hours solo or in teams or pick one of the 6+6 hour categories where you get to rest overnight.
