Terrey Hills update for 30 Oct
Section of Perimeter from the RFS is wet in places but rideable if you don't mind your bike getting a bit muddy.
The usual puddles from the jap school out thru Long Trail are the full width of the trail, but navigable.

Withdrawn: Rockshox SID Forks
I have a Rockshox SID XX fork free to a good home. Thru axle used for only 1 season, ridden a few hundred km.
This would be for someone who likes fixing stuff, rather than someone looking for a cheap option. I purchased them but could never get them to work properly, and they would seize randomly during races. After 1 year I gave up on them.
So if you are confident at pulling forks apart then they could be a very nice set of forks.

some work in progress opposite Nth Balgowlah School as council repairs the footpath. there are barriers blocking the bike path/footpath and riders will need use Manning St to bypass this section. Work should be completed in the next few days if the weather cooperates

Footpath opposite North Balgowlah PS is all barricaded off.

Driest I've seen it for ages. Traffic lines getting cleaner. Devlins still a bit messy from the giant slasher, but getting better.

It appears the development of Hornsby Quarry and Old Man's Valley into a recreational facility may jeopardise trail network we have ALL worked so hard for.
Please share the following video, and encourage all in support of mountain bike riding to make comment in the video comments section.
Consultation Forums are about to start in regards to the development of the recreational space within these land parcels. Traditional sports are reported to be lobbying council heavily to take away mountain bike facilities in the interests of their own sports.

Did a "back in the saddle" ride from the Japanese school on Sunday morning after after all the rain on Friday night and through Saturday, I was expecting it to be quite wet and muddy in places, but the centimetre of rain the day before only really packed down the loose sand. The odd, circumnavigatable puddle in the usual places – otherwise in great nick.
