Mogo State Forest update for 13 Oct
Rode the tracks around Deep Creek Dam today and they are in pretty good condition. Props to the trail builders. Haven't made it out to the Maulbrooks tracks yet, but I understand they are open again after some repair work following logging operations. The Snake Track lives on...

Anyone selling a Fox 36 Green spring for Van R forks.
I am after a Fox 36 green spring for my Van R.
I have gained weight and need the next level spring until I lose weight but they seem to be pretty sparse online and no local shops can get them. Does anyone have one that they no longer need?

Wingello State Forest update for 11 Oct
Nice to get away from the mud of Canberra for a day. FYI tree harvesting is currently being conducted alongside the camping area behind the toilet, detours are in place.
There is still a barrier of trees left between the area being harvested and the camping ground, beyond that though it appears they are taking a scorched Earth approach.

Good condition, some loose rock halfway along - but that's normal for this track.

Duck Hole/Terrey Hills Trail update for 10 Oct
Good condition - some work has recently been done by National Parks to cut back bush either side if the trail so its now wider, but they have scattered loose sticks & vegetation on the trail surface. Some grading has been done near the Terry Hills end to remove the deep erosion ruts.

Scott 24 - End of an era
Went down to CBR and did the Scott 24 - just socially. The numbers were down.
My first ever race was Scott 24hr back in 2007 and the size of the event back then was massive. This year it was tiny with most riders appeared to be doing 6 + 6 because the night laps were very lonely.
From 2007 onwards we did Scott 24 every year for a while but have not done it in two or three years so it was quite unexpected to find it so small.
