"The mountain bike track and the walking trails are still closed. Debris is still being cleared. Track will be accessed again tomorrow morning at 8am.

Beware the sinkhole
Anyone who uses the fire trail at the end of Cannons pde to access serrata beware there is a large sinkhole on the right side about half way down. Came very close to dropping into it last night.

Perimeter + Long

Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Looking to start easing into some mid-week Winter social rides with all the stops and whistles!
Thinking of doing Perimeter, Cowan & Long Trails, depending on wetness.
Come and join in for an easy outing and if we are really smart some food and bevvies back at the clubhoues aka Terrey Hills Tavern.
Alternative starting location to be advised. i.e. Japanese School

Still wet and could do with a few more days to dry out.
A large tree is blocking the trail near the start of the single track after Balgowlah Bowls Club, but the rest is clear and there's no closed signs from the rangers.

North Turramurra update for 08 Jun
Rode from Grosvenor through to Daly Ave this morning. A few mid sized trees down on the descent from Grosvener (easy to walk the bike over or around) so take care. The trail itself was damp but not alot of standing water so very rideable. There has been quite a bit of erosion on the trail which is also littered with derailleur snapping sticks in places.
An option for locals wanting a spin on the weekend if singletrail tracks are still closed this weekend.

Terrey Hills update for 07 Jun
So NSW National Parks have closed all walking tracks and trails in Garigal and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Parks due to storm damage.

Bantry Bay update for 06 Jun
Went for a walk around Serrata this afternoon. Its clear of fallen trees but the top section is wet with puddles. The bottom is only damp and draining well. Cook Street fire trail has a number of deep puddles.
