The Oaks update for 29 Dec
Look out for the attempt to fill in one of the puddles (near the Bennetts intersection I think) with sticks.
Not a great idea and certainly not IMBA approved!

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook station carpark.
Planning on riding up The Oaks and back tomorrow morning so I dont feel so guilty eating and drinking my way through Xmas and boxing day.
Fairly quick (for me that is, 1hr 40min odd) on the way up - cruisy home if some people want to meet us at woodford for the return trip only. If noone wants a social down, then I'll push fairly hard down too.
All welcome at either Glenbrook or Woodford.
Departing around 8:20am from Glenbrook station carpark or just after 10 at Woodford (start of the trail).
Cheers, Ian

Glenbrook station carpark.
After being reminded about this on the Wednesday night ride, it's time to put it up for next year to give you all a chance to drag out your secret weapons.
Guidelines are:
1) Bike not to be worth more than $200 new or needs to be over ten years old.
2) No disc brakes.
3) You have to carry it out with you even if it is stuffed.
4) All stacks are your own fault for riding such a heap of S*&t
5) No clipless pedals (unless the bike came with them originally)
6) Must be prepared to have an embarrassing photo taken.
7) Anything else I have missed here....................

Knapsack Reserve Twilight Ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook Park. In the small car park opposite the shops.
A loop around Knapsack Reserve this week and then back to Glenbrook Park for a byo BBQ.
All welcome!!

Christmas ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.
We'll most likely head to the Winmalee tavern after the ride.
All welcome.

Buy a bike for Christmas
Why buy gifts that will be burried in the garage or closet and rarely get used. Put that cash to better use and buy a bike.
Get into gear with this great gift, because everyone loves a bike. UNICEF has found that in some parts of the world a bike is one of the most important modes of transport for villages.
It is particularly helpful for health workers to reach vulnerable children in remote communities. It is often used to transport other Inspired Gifts like the vaccine carrier.
