Did 3 consecutive Bee's Nest repeats.
1st - 11:05
2nd - 10:56
3rd - 11:55
Gave it a fair bit on the second run, happy with the time but not how close it is to the 1st run - I honestly thought I'd shaved at least 30-40 seconds off it. 3rd run was just a cruise up (still hard though!). I recon I put at least 30-40% more effort into the 2nd run compared to the 3rd and only shaved 1 min. I've got a long way to go to get sub 10min.

What advances do you forsee in MTN Biking?

Last weekend I attended a meeting with NPWS in Glenbrook(unrelated to the disscussion paper or north sydney projects)

Most intesting Question of the day was what advances do you forsee likely to occur with mountain biking in the next 10 years? example. Will riders be using electric motors? Will downhill pedalling store energy to assist with climbing?

Still slowing down on downhill section, need bigger balls. Happy with time tho, but will go for better soon.
Locked the bike up and ran the loop in 40:30. PB by 5mins. Anyone else run it?

All clear - trail now graded out of Bedford Creek to Woodford so pretty steady going with no traction problems. They have also done the Ingar fire trail as well if you are going back to Wentworth Falls.

Big upgrades on the evo!

Well it was time for the big upgrade, i decided that the 150 forks needed tossing and in there place came som 2012 160mm fox talas rlc with kashima coat and fit cartridge, also a nice new sram chain, cant remember the serial number, but its good, also a nice polished thomson 50mm x4 elite stem, bike now feels absolutely awesome, and it now comes in at 12.9kgs, very happy with that!

The weekend before the Husky 100 I went for a weekend holiday down south and stayed at Culburra Beach. (I probably should have gave warning about the mud).

Not only did I get some fantastic riding in I also took some various photos. I only have an iPhone 4, but it still can take great photos.

At one stage I was on a wharf and managed to walk within a metre of a pelican and got some great photos. Preempting the flight of the pelican I switched to video mode so I could screenshot from the video later. Does this count as a real photo?
