GTA at Dirtworks
This years Dirtworks 100 saw a few GTA members out for a ride in less than ideal conditions. Just as well the sandstone base trails stand up pretty well.Though in a couple of sections they need to get those convicts back to do some trail maintenance.
Myself and the Team Drunken Scum did OK and all finished in one piece it was hard going in the mud and most times were slower than usual, though even with a mamoth hangover I did faster than last year, go figure.
Cracked Frame
Hi Guys,
Just after a bit of advice my 09' model scott scale has crack around head set.Now all good in rearguards to replacing the frame but they are not replacing it with a scale frame but same hybrid frame they use for warranty claims.Has anyone had any experience with this situation? Should i not get a same for same replacement?

Shimano Deore Rapidfire Plus parts
I need advice as to what part or parts I need to buy?
Went for a mud run today, and broke something inside the front derailleur shift lever.
It must have been gummed up and I pushed it too hard, indicator needle stepped out too, not sure what I did but I had to ride home 1x9.
Pulled it apart and the little white plastic ring that engages the end of the shift cable has snapped out its fitting.
Need at least a new white ring. Can I buy this? OR do I have to buy a whole shifter?
I am assuming nothing else broke to cause this, and that I can get the 12 or so parts back together.

Wet and soggy, fire roads are good but i would avoid most of the single track if possible. An afternoon of sun should see it good for tomorrow...

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 25 Apr
As of 12:30 today when I left Glenrock the trails were awesome. Again, a little loose/dusty on the upper sections of BJ's but otherwise awesome.
Pick of the trails was again Upper Jumping the Gun into Twisties. Can't get enough of those sections.
It is belting down rain now though, so I would expect a few puddles that should drain/run off/soak in very quickly once the rain stops.
Fingers crossed tomorrow will be tacky and fast.
