Anybody?

Woodford to Glenbrook Classic - Sunday 26 June 201

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi Folks.

I'll be going up to the Blue Mountains on Sunday to do the Woodford to Glenbrook Classic. I have recived my registration confirmation via email however can't seem to get much more information.

Can anyone help me with the follwing:

1. Where and when do i get my race number(if they have them)?
2. I hear the race starts at 9AM - is that confirmed?
3. Exactly where is th start line. I am assumign its at the head of the Oaks trail off taylor Rd. is that a good assumption?

Thanks - excuse the basic questions - it is my first time.

Advice

This is a shout-out to all of you that have competed at the Back Yamma Bigfoot event last year, i need some advice on training. My fitness is at a good level and getting better each week, but i need to hit the trails (as soon as they dry out :S) to work on some technical skills. This being my first race and first time at the Bigfoot event, i was wondering if anyone could tell me:
1. How technical is the 50km event?
2. What are some good technical rides (within the NBeaches).

Dirtworks 2012

Hey,

Long way off till the event, though I want to start early.

Finishing my last year of school this year, I'm looking into racing in the Dirtworks Classic next year as one of my first races, and was keen to hear some suggestions people had in terms of training for the event.

Firstly, being my first race longer than 20km, should I just do the 50km event or should I gun it to all 100km? I've been quite fit the past two years, and am capable of 100km, though in a race situation I should get used to this type of race over a shorter distance.

Kanagra Classic Selling out!

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi Guys,

Just a heads up that the 50km for the KC has alreeady sold out and the 100km has less than 50 spots left I believe!

As a result the organisers have extended the early bird offer for the 100km until the 12th June! Looks like I'll be doing my first 100km event in October!!

Hope to see some of you there!

Hope for us all yet. English human after all

Battle Royale in the Red Centre
And three become two...or so it could transpire as Jason English fell away in today’s Stage Five 22km time trial, leaving yellow jersey rider Andy Blair, along with Aiden Lefmann, to put the pedal down for a face-off battle up front.
