Hmmmmm....
http://nobmob.com/node/7875
not "hmmmmm" enough for you to shut the thread?
*but I suspect will be now *
looking at my calendar it seems it works in with deadlines this year - third time lucky maybe?
i want to check out all this single track you go on about!
The best stuff comes at the 75-85km mark, AMAZING TRACK!
So keep on that roidy horse of yours till then
You can also get friendly with many hills while you're at it
i will only be doing the 50 for this one - too much work at that time of year to fit in all this bloody training - I will enter but won't be 100% for getting there and i am not going t break my non-existant balls (NO RUDE COMMENTS) training only to not get there - will pseudo train with you though!
If I'm gonna be doing the 100, so should YOU!!
No excuses!
usually works every time - i will see about work and whether i actually make it round this weekend first!!
will you train with me if i do enter the 100 (which is highly unlikely!)
I'll train with you! but mind you it will be months before i'm on any bike, let alone a MTB..
Then thats getting awfully close to race dates, so in the interim, you'll have to find another training partner, which I'm sure you'll have no troubles with
All that said, I'm in, ENTERED!! bring it!
Hurry guys, they're filling fast!
Im ticketed and ready.and hopefully when i get back from Germany i wont be too fat!
Let's see if I can remember the stuff around 75Km this year. It was a bit hazy last
Do you need a photo reminder Rob?
Nah - that was at the water station. I was actually feeling a bit better by then so perhaps the section of track just before was nice
it was all nice!
What i liked is they made all the uphills boring firetrail grinds... so when spinning away you dont have to focus on the trail which is nice.. then when going down its all fast sniggle that you blast through!!!
Signed up on Saturday. Sounds like some decent hill training should be done. 2800m climbing is quite a bit.
Are there actually aid stations on the way?
How long did it take you?
Cheers
Sascha
