Need more light?
This looks rather insane...
Their smaller models look quite nice, and a little more sensible.
Cheap CREE LED lights from Kogan?
Kogan are selling a 1200 lumen CREE led headlamp (no handlebar mount)for $35. Not the latest state of the art however $35 for around 1200 lumens seems like fair value if the quality is ok and the design looks very familiar to several others out there in the marketplace. could be a good cheap commuter light. Anyone have any experience with these units?

Awesome Warranty Service - BOA laces
The BOA laces on my 2012 specialized mtb shoes were suffering from mud and a general poor cleaning regime. This meant that the laces were not holding ie. ratchet slippage.
So I got on the BOA website and placed an order for a replacement set, which was FREE including postage from the US to lil ol Perth as they warrant their product 100% for the life of the product to which their BOA laces are integrated.
Ebay cree lights
Hi there,
Considering some cheap ebay lights. Considering the three solarstorm ones.

Has anyone tried these and can compare them? Which one has the better beam spread? Any difference between the flat and round design? How do they feel when mounted on the helmet? Probably all three will be bright enough but want the one with a better spread of light.
Also saw this one for the helmet
A combination of safety light and camera, the Fly6 watches the backs of cyclists
Interesting...and a clever idea with the looping function and cut off.
Smart Phone GPS or Garmin / Similar Bike Computer
I just lost my dumb phone and am in the market for a new smart one. My question is are smart phones adequate for GPS tracking and current location on a map whilst out on the trails, or should I be looking to get a separate GPS Bike Computer?
The primary use for this is going to be finding my way around new trails here and overseas, so I need current map location etc.
If phones are OK are they all essentially the same, but depend on the app it's running? ie. can I get away with buying a cheap phone?
