I'm looking at swapping out the rear shock of my Mojo HD for the Cane Creek DB air CS.
Anyone have any feed back on this shock?

Hot weather and hydraulic brakes!!

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Made the mistake of leaving my bike out in the sun (40c here) for awhile. Came to get on it and the front brake was really dragging and unridable. Worked out the heat had either expanded the oil in the system, and/or other parts of the system. Put it in the shade and once it cooled down everything was normal.

Moral: dont park bike in direct sun when its hot.

FWIW.

She'll be right! Erm, maybe not...

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I noticed over the last week the front Racing Ralph TLR seems to have developed a slow leak. So I pumped it up yesterday ready for today's ride, but it had lost a little bit of air by this morning. I figured that since it was six months since they were put on, maybe it just needed more sealant.

Didn't want to stop to put it in, figured she'll be right for a few hours and I'd catch up with it when I got back.

Bike Bag Dude - Bike Bags

I had a chance to meet up with the people from Bike Bag Dude, Kedan and Katherine, today. I think they make and sell great products so if you are looking for a purpose built or custom made bag for your bike check them out.

Carbon or Ti seatpost?

I've got a mate whose deciding between a carbon or ti seatpost for a new steel hardtail (http://www.cotic.co.uk/product/soul). Any advice, recommendations or tips for young players? What about longevity of carbon? I've always used Thomson aluminium, so don't know how to advise him.

Help - dropping chain

Hi there,

Last few rides my chain has been dropping from the middle chainring when I'm riding a rocky downhill section. I wasn't trying to change gears or even pedalling. Gear in the rear may be in the smallest 3 cogs. Other then that it seems to shift ok. What could be the reason for the chain dropping? worn chainring? checked the chain with a measuring thing and seems ok. Chain was changed maybe a year ago along with the inner chainring and cassette. haven't had any problem with the drive train till now.

Surly Fat Bike

I think I want a Surly Pugsly or Moonlander, who has experience with these bikes and wants to share? I have a Rat Ride and love it, also a 1x1 frame gathering dust that has a pile of parts lying around it that need bolting on (standard 29 rims).
