Cleats question
A couple of questions that I am sure you guys will know the answer to.
1. I've only been riding cleats for the past six months but all of a sudden I am struggling to get in and out of them (Shimano spd). Would it be possible that because I have them on the loosest setting that this is occurring? They kind of feel like they get caught sometimes when getting out of them and sometimes I'll be riding for a while before I can slam them in. When I got them this didn't happen and I felt quite comfortable getting in and out of them.

an education on selecting handlebar height
hi all,
just wondering if any clued-up geometry-savy rider out there might be able to give me a brief education on selecting correct handle bar height for my riding style or posture? what determines? You see, I have always had my stem atop 2 spacers on my 2008 giant reign. wondering what would happen if i moved the stem down? don't know what the governing theory is though. anybody care to have a stab? cheers, mark
n +1 help
The time has come for me to upgrade my 26" HT after a year of great service. It's given me the MTB bug and taken all the stacks and abuse I can throw at it. I'm probably going to retire it to a road training bike now to keep the k's down on the new bike.
My budget is around $2k so I'm looking at another hard tail. I've not ridden a 29er yet but I think that's the direction I'm going to go, I felt out of place on a 26" bike at Awaba last week!
The 2 bike I'm looking at are:-

Fork upgrade
Hey all,
I own a 2010 Jamis Trail X3 with factory fitted RSL Gila T9 forks.
I've noticed that they have started to leak oil, and constantly bottom out/top out when riding. I'm keen to replace these with something a little better.
Any recommendations? I manly ride single track/fire trail, but also ride to work at the weekends (6km ride each way up/down hills on paved road)
Cheers
help with wider handlebar choices
Hi,
as the title suggests i need to figure out if i need wider handlebars (i want them but thats not enough)
I have a 2011 XXL stumpjumper with 690 wide handlebars, however i have noticed that while i am traveling at speed (especially downhill technical sections) my hands tend to move further outwards on the bars to the point where i am holding them with only half of my palm.
also as the ride progresses i tend to find myself moving my hands further out.
just to give you an idea, i am 6'7" about 300lbs and have very wide shoulders (i don't have a measurement currently)
Fork upgrade
I've got a 2010 Jamis Trail X3 - (one of these: http://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/thebikes/hardtails...) with the stock standard RST Gila T9 fork.
I'd like to replace these with something a little better. The current forks are leaking, and bottom out/top out frequently.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I mostly ride offroad (Manly dam etc), but do the odd on road stint to/from work too (6 k's each way), so a lock-out would be nice.
shimano mtb cleats
hi guys I'm struggling to find this information but when i buy shimano mtb shoes

Help with Rockshox Poploc remote
Hi guys
I just had a 2013 Rockshox Reba fork with a poploc remote installed. But the remote is confusing me.
When the lever is up, the fork is able to move freely.
When i push the button with the unlock symbol, the lever flicks down. The dial on the fork crown rotates anticlockwise. The fork then feels like it's locked. In this position I can feel the difference when I adjust the floodgate.
