Back In The Saddle - Andersons + Oaks (One Way)
Meet at Glenbrook Train Station to catch the train up to Wentworth Falls. (I'll meet you all at the station 'cause I live at Wentworth Falls)
Back in the saddle ride after messy divorce with my gallbladder!
Train leaves Glenbrook at 6:53am arriving 7:40am at Wenty Falls. Ride from there to Woodford via Andersons Fire Trail and depending on how keen everyone is, continue down to Glenbrook via the Oaks and single track or bail out at Woodford.
Quarry Road Track - that has its ups and downs
End of Stewart Ave, Hornsby
Just quickly cruising down this track to start the day, and not-so-quickly cruising (or more so CURSING) back up. Wouldn't mind some company.
It's just firetrail, but the great waterbar-punctuated downhills make it great fun, and the not-so-fun ascent is nevertheless good for fitness.
The old bridge down the bottom is beautiful, and a highlight of the ride, as well as a couple of other nice rest areas to break the climb.

Heading down saturday night with a mate and treating this a traning ride so will expect to finish about 2hrs 45mins.
CCOMTB - Club Race - 2010 Round 10 - 6 hour Final
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
Awesome race at the best track around (ok, so I'm biased). Come along and race, and be home for lunch. Please park at the upper car park, I believe the lower one shouldn't be used by MTB riders any more.
XC Race day Fees are $15.00 plus an additional $15 for an MTBA day license if you don't have one. Registration is from 8am, racing starts at 9.30 sharp.
CCOMTB website is HERE
Don't miss the final epic 6 hour race to the brilliant CCOMTB season.
