Manly Dam With Lights
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
A medium to quick paced ride around the dam mid week at night I will be just doing one standard non stop lap of the dam this is enough for me as I will be riding there and then home so also wont be hanging around afterwards.
Pre-social Duckholes/Centre lap
Terrey Hills Tavern, eastern carpark, Aumuna Rd, Terrey Hills, NSW 2084
For those early work finishers (ie bludgers like me) a lap of Duckholes/Centre tracks, returning to the Tavern and meeting up with the social ride for a second (recovery) lap, then dinner. Yummy!
Aim is to do this first lap in 45 mins or less (barring crashes/mechanicals)-steady but not race pace.
SOCIAL Night Ride [Duckhole & Centre & Dinner]
Terrey Hills Tavern, eastern carpark, Aumuna Rd, Terrey Hills, NSW 2084
Social night ride - with a different trail for a bit of variety!
Shorter track, gets us back in time to the tavern for a feed!
It was suggested to start this at 7 PM and go Centre/Duckhole to get us back before the Tavern's kitchen closes at 9 PM.
[Everyone welcome - suitable for newbies, too...we're riding an easy trail, ~ 16kms round trip]
Red Hill - Super Ultra Mega Awesome Ride!
Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.
I've got a "new" bike that needs its first outing. I'm planning on doing the usual Red Hill circuit and adding in anything else that people may find interesting. As the new bike is a little less pedally and an unknown beast, I'll be taking it fairly easy.
New bike, new bike, new bike!!!!! Woooo
SOCIAL Nightride [@ Terry Hills]
Terrey Hills Tavern, eastern carpark, Aumuna Rd, Terrey Hills, NSW 2084
Social night ride - the warm spring nights are here!
Come along and stretch your legs...
Naturally we'll have a cleansing ale at the Tavern afterwards.
[Everyone welcome - suitable for newbies, too...we're riding Perimeter + Long Trail, 22k's round trip]
...and for the Flingers...rest assured...this is "easy pace" to stretch your legs...without breaking bones or bikes before the race
See you on Wednesday...
Rgds, Hans
Social Sunday Morning Manly Fun
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
An easy social paced lap or two of the Dam no roids or fling training on this ride just a bit of fun so I will be stopping here and there and repeating a few sections two or three times. I will probably do a standard lap and then maybe the legal extra bits over on the otherside of the road.
Terrey Hills saunter / new bikes show & tell
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Seeing as there seem to be a few new bikes out there at the moment I thought what better way to bed in the new beasties than with a saunter along some familiar trails. I'm gunna do Duckholes/Centre/Perimeter/Long, followed by a skinny flat white & some sort of sugar coated pastried fruit pie.
Everyone welcome. Pace will be social, the ride is approx 40k's and you can dump or join at the half way point (ie the shops again).
Manly ride morning ride
At the public school carpark.
