Terrey Hills Database Update
Hi everyone! Last week I enquired with NPWS if it was okay to ride a small trail that loops off/onto Perimeter. This trail is signposted with horses permitted on it. I have received the following response from the Rangers office. They confirm this track allows both horse riders and MTB riders. I have updated the Terrey Hills page http://nobmob.com/rides/terreyhills
I believe the track you are referring to is the Wilkins Loop North Track that is signposted with horses permitted on it. This track allows both horse riders and MTB riders.
Trails shown on Google maps, how to get changed.
Is it possible to update the trail maps shown on Google maps & Google earth on NobMob?
Yesterday went for a ride at Terrey hills, & found that the trail marked to the South of the intersection of Cullamine Rd & Booralie Rd has no legal entry or exits.
145 & 147 Booralie Rd have placed private property signs at the Booralie Rd entrance, plus private property signs & gates exist at all the exits further South. The trail terminates at a 3m high electrified fence surrounding Waratah Park.
As it is no longer accessible, is it possible to remove the trail on Google maps & Google earth?
Duck Holes ride
Anybody have a track condition update for Duck Holes - am thinking of giving it a go on Sunday morning,

Anyone ridden cascades recently? Want to go but won't bother if the trails are too wet.

Trees down on Perimeter trail from Echunga
Anyone know why the start of Perimeter from Echunga has so many trees down and strategically placed to potentially injure a rider. I moved a couple, but not all!
Bairn Track
I was on Bairn Track yesterday and there was track work in progress. The trail was a mess with track tread marks all over the trail, crushed bed rock strewn every where, torn tree roots and damage everywhere. The sand and mud was disturbed and water running across the trail seemed to be cutting new paths.
What is the point of all of this? I rode the trail a few weeks ago and it was fine and in very good condition. Am I missing something?

Hi,
Is there a starting point of the Manly Damn trail near closer to Allambie Road ?
I was thinking of starting the trail for the first time here at the attached picture.
I work in French's Forest so a pre-work ride is do-able.

Cowan Trail Update
Here is the official response I managed the elicit from NPWS which they were very kind to provide on official letterhead. I have attached a JPEG image of the letter so you can save, print out and keep in your backpack as I will just in case you are stopped or abused by walkers when riding the trail. Alternatively, you can PM for a PDF version. Here's the email I received last week:
I can confirm that mountain bikes are permitted to use the Cowan Track / Fire trail (that goes off the Long trail) in KCNP.
