Central Coast rides?

Anybody any suggestions for rides in this area, there's got to be some decent trails considering all the bush in the area (fnarr fnarr) but searching the net there doesnt seem to be many documented trails.
I've explored over the Woy Woy / Pearl Beach / Ettalong trails, behind the tip and that might be worth documenting for the ride guide the next time I'm out. Any other areas to recommend? Have we any Central Coast Nobmobs that can share?!!

Jerusalem Bay

Has anyone ever riden from Cowan down to Jerusalem Bay? Or, gone further and ridden right down to Brooklyn? I've been thinking of making a morning of it although am worried about how much walking I may have to do. Then train it back up to Cowan.

Riding in Dural/Galston

Hey all MTB riders. I live in Galston and would like to get a regular group together to ride in the area. (Galston/Dural/Glenorie) Maybe a weekly nightride for those with lights.

Actually you can make it a loop, but only if you borrow an abandoned boat and transport your bike across the dam. See http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/player/1634102

Lane Cove / Sth Turamurra

Been there once..... Quite a good ride with a mixture of firetrail and a section of single track.

Meet at the end of Canoon Road, off Kissing Point Road. There are netball courts and tennis courts so parking is not a problem.

Once entered the area, there are series of firetrails within the area which extends as far as Pennant Hills and Wahroonga.

City Trails?

Aloha!

I'm new here in the forum, and newish to MTBing in Australia (just moved here in April '06.)

I currently live in Randwick. Do any of you guys know of any trails or anything similar to a trail around here? Its always time consuming getting to the mountains or the North Shore. (not really that it's a problem, just takes time).
Centennial Park isn't bad, and its at my doorstep.

Any suggestions, or people wanting to go for a ride around here - that would be cool!

cheers,
Flo

Wisemans Ferry ride

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I was planning on getting a bunch of riders out to Wisemans Ferry this Saturday morning (the 18th), which should be great fun. I have never ridden out there before, and I am looking forward to it very much. Lots of people say it is great. But I am not sure how many of my mates are going to go yet. But will know more later in the week.

My question... does anyone know of any good weblinks (hotlinks) you could direct me to that explain the Wisemans Ferry ride in detail? As this ride / trail does not appear to be on this website. I just wanted to do a bit of research before we get out there.

Yellomundee Regional Park XC Tracks

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

As a suggestion for an away ride I can recommend the Yellowmundee Regional park just out of Penrith. It took me about 1hr15mins to drive out there from Lane Cove. It's basically a 10-12km circuit (I think) that takes about 45-60mins to cover. It has a variety of sections to it, bridge crossings, climbs, jumps, all on single track. My favourite part is a series of jumps where you can safely get some air (well no rocks to land on).

Western Sydney MTB club maintain it and here is a basic map:
