Manly Dam Distance - 9.65 or 10.1
Have been riding with a Garmin Edge 500 for a couple of months now.
Every time I ride Manly Dam I get a distance of 10.1. The Hot Lap lists a distance of 9.65. What's going on.... Am I riding an extra 500 meters, is my Garmin dodgy, or does the trail data need to be updated?

Started at the Parkway entrance; Felt good and got through most of my 'mental gates' under goal time.
Parkway to the creek; under 2 minutes (1:43)
Top of Heart Break hill; under 5 minutes (4:00)
Top of single trail; under 10 minutes (9:57)
Hydro lab; under 15 minutes.... missed this one... (16:21)
School; under 20 minutes (19:59)
Gold Course; under 30 minutes (29:23)
Back to Parkway; under 40 minutes (38:12)

Anybody camping out for the James Williams Enduro? Might be nice to have a bit of a tent city
Getting Fitter (HR Overlay)
I did a nice easy ride to West Head and back last night from Bayview. This is a regular ride I do and is 43km long. My aim last night was to keep the heart rate down and make it a nice slow recovery ride.
Below I have overlaid my heart rate from 3 of the exact same rides.
The ride from the 28/10/2009 (blue) took 01:55:37 was one of my first rides back after having a busy 2009 with work and not much (read zero) exercise.
The ride from the 10/02/2011 (red) took 01:34:23 and is the fastest time I have done it in. My goal is 01:26:00 which is 30km/h.

Rode the red and yellow loops on Sunday. Surprising grip on the singletrack considering it was damp.

Cannondale - gone?
I was looking for details / availability of an aftermarket Lefty fork for my next project (29'er); and noticed that a number of the traditional Cannondale dealers (e.g. Bike Addiction, KOM, Turramurra Cycles etc) have decided to no longer stock C'dale. Some were citing quality issues with the frames (not forks) over the last few years.
Does anyone know more about the fate of C'dale dealers in Sydney; and possibly point me to a reasonably priced supplier for a (warranty covered) Lefty fork that can be modified with a www.Project321.com adapter for a tapered headtube?
