MTB Shoes Compatibility
Hi
I have started riding a road bike and i was wondering if it was possible to use my Specialized MTB shoes with a 2 bolt pattern on a shimano 105 group set that includes a 3 bolt cleat system

CCOMTB - 2011 - Round 1
What a race, and what a turn out! It looked like there were about 15 people in A grade alone. Great Nobmob turn out too, hopefully those that haven't been before can see what a great race it is and will attend some more. Well done to Ray for what looked like 5th place in A grade - what a demon. Logan, hope your cuts heal OK, they looked pretty nasty but nothing a pommy victory at the cricket wouldn't solve eh?

Manly Dam update for 23 Jan
Great condition. Very grippy and fast rolling.
Some wet spots along the Allambie fire trail sections, and two almost dry muddy spots just down trail from 19th Hole, but otherwise excellent.
Thanks to whoever took the risky loose rock out of the middle of the trail down near they Hydro Lab that I reported on last time.

Interesting observations
An interesting observation - from my perspective.
Saturday morning a mate and i went scumming (road biking) out to West Head (his bike was being rebuilt, so it was the only option for a ride). Just like a few others over recent months, i had an off - at around 70kmh going around a corner. The carnage trail was 25m long and quite obvious. My current state was also quite obvious - totalled bike, and i was a tad messed up to say the least (lycra doesnt tend to be compatable with the road...), so acres of skin missing.

best single track in sydney
Went for an early ride this morning out at south camden . I had forgoten how good this place is, The track winds its way through thick bushland just above the Nepean river twisting and turning ,droping into gullys with pinch climbs to keep to keep you working ,the 2 deepest gullys have wooden bridges in the bottom but very steep entry and exit ,I cant ride out of the first gully on the way in but it is rideable on the return trip.

Which XC dual suspension bike for under $3K?
Looking at getting the Giant Trance X2.
I'd appreciate any thoughts / recommendations on the best xc dual suspension bike for $2K - $3K.
Thanks

Manly Dam update for 22 Jan
Double Green! Best conditions for a long time..... little bit of water at the top of the track where there has recently been burning off. Apart from that very dry and good riding.
Enjoy!!!
