Kiwarrak State Forest update for 06 Nov

Status:
Green/Open

Wow - got my first chance to ride these tracks last week (every day for about 5 days once I got addicted). Conditions are good despite the heavy rain in Taree. The trails are clay based so can get greazy when wet, with some pooling on switchback corners. All in all very good track even when there has been a spot or rain. If you haven't had a chance to ride this course, you are seriously missing out. Cheers..>Greg

St Helena Track

Thinking about giving St helena Track a go tomorrow morning quite early. Either take the train to Wentworth Falls and do the descent or ride up from Glenbrook to the turnoff. I've never done it before but looks like good fun if anyone is interested in tackling it a bit damp. Speed at a reasonable pace - maybe 90mins from Glenbrook to Woodville as a guide. Tired of the rain so going to ignore it.

NoBMoB Weather is back

Ahem... Sticking out tongue

Some keyed eyed views had noticed the NoBMoB Weather wasn't quite matching with what's happening outside lately.

This was as the BOM turned off the old Sydney feed and only now have information from the Terrey Hills station in this area and the data grabber/loader needed updating.

All done now, so there you go:

Although please note it will take some time before the new feed 'fills' the 10 day graph and even longer for the others of course.

P.S. Also added Awaba into the list of places monitored Smiling
