A few muddy bits after last weekends washout. Overall not too bad. Half between green and amber. Give it a green cos its firetrail. Lots of families out there, so take it easy on the Davidson side.

Lane Cove National Park update for 25 Apr
Rode through from Gloucester Ave to the top of Devlins this morning. Still plenty of wet patches, but not too bad. Plenty of walkers (and dogs!). Will take a few more days to dry out a bit to the point where you don't need to wash the bike down afterwards....

Pretty wet up at the Vale St end, with a few drier patches further down. Needs another few days of sun to dry out at this time of year.

Nerang Trails SEQ
I had a great ride out at Nerang today. Heaps of locals on the trail giving me some great tips on where to ride. There are a lot of trails in the State Forest that are technically illegal but I think I managed to stay on track today.
Thanks to the 3 blokes with Specializeds in the car park, the Pomie guy with the Red Reign at the top of 3 hills, The three young blokes (one with a hard tail) at the bottom.
Our Blog for Joberg2C - A 9 day Stage Race in South Africa
Hi Folks,
Minter and I are now in South Africa to do Joberg2C, a 911km mountain bike stage race over 9 days....which unfortunately means we are missing the Convict 100km....although I am pretty sure that Dicko is happy about that 
Berowra Valley National and Regional Park survey
If you're like me your probably getting sick of telling NPWS the same thing over and over again. But they are reviewing the plan of management for berowra valley and are specifically asking questions about mountain biking at stringy bark ridge (aka the old pony club) in pennant hills.
The survey is linked below and i get the impression that some more MTB responses would be good.

OMV track maintenance day is happening on Saturday the 4th May @ 2pm.
Monthly trail maintenance of OMV. (Also see calendar above)
The regular track maintenance day is happening on Saturday the 4th May @ 2pm.
Meet at the trail head, Quarry Road, Hornsby 2077
The jobs at this stage will include:
- completing split rock on the south side
- commencing work on the northside including the work on the first big berm, convict corner and perhaps further to magic mushroom
As always make sure you wear sturdy shoes, gloves and a hat, and bring drinking water and a water proof jacket in case of rain.
