Manly Dam - Authorised Changes
How the track rides, what lines we take and how they are shaped is something we are all passionate about.
We have a meeting with Council next week including reps from clubs and NobMob.
The purpose of this meeting is to look at future trail works and many of the issues in the other thread.
Can people post photos of key sections of track such as the BBQ patio and 19th Hole and any other favourate segments with diagrams and show what they regard as key beginner and more advanced lines.
Others can also comment. The photos also document what is there currently.

Manly Dam update for 23 Oct
I did a lunchtime loop to check the track after yesterday's rain.
There are a couple of small puddles after the Golf Course Rock, but nothing worth worrying about.
And so the track remains Green/Open

Waratah Track update for 22 Oct
Did waratah, salvation and yeomans trails - dry, rocky and quite sandy in places. Yeomans did have a felled tree blocking the trail but nothing that couldn't be bunny hopped if good enough (I wasn't, so lifted my bike over). Amazingly in over 20kms of trails I did not see a single other rider or walker, especially since perimeter and long were closed. Did manage to see a rather large lizard though, before he bolted off into the bush...

The Oaks update for 22 Oct
Rode the Oaks via Euroka on Sunday including the single track at the end, and it's in good condition.. Less standing water (none?) than the previous weekend

'13 Merida Matts Lite XT H/T
So i have had my Merida Matts Lite XT for a few weeks now and love it and has been great on some of the soft local trails around Narrabeen lakes and a few of the smoother trails off the Wakehurst parkway... but on Sun i took it for a run around Manly Dam was still good but i could see how much easier the dual suspension bikes were handling compared to me bouncing all over the place with my hard tail...
My Q is did i buy the wrong bike for these types of rides, i.e Manly Dam, Oxford Falls, Cascades, Red hill etc
Cheers for any advise
Adam
