Red Hill update for 20 Oct

Area:
Red Hill
Status:
Green/Open

Haven't ridden here since the 'big wet' and the trail is about as dry as I have ever seen it. Getting very sandy in some spots. Dropzone, 4WD Folly and the rim ride were all is good condition (for Red Hill) although one of the nicer FR descents was looking a little overgrown and under used.

Bloomin hot today. Forgot how little shade there is. No motos though which was a very pleasant change.

If you can't ride a line get off your bike and walk. Just stop fucking up the trail for those who can ride it.

Terrey Hills update for 20 Oct

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Due to the hazard reduction burn being performed by the RFS this weekend Long Trail will be closed. Perimeter is open but there is a heavy smoke haze and there will be heavy RFS traffic entering and leaving via the Perimeter trail. I would recommend avoiding both trails for the weekend.

Many thanks

Riding in Adelaide

I'll be down in Adelaide for a couple of days next month with some friends. We were wondering about renting bikes and riding some dirt one day while we're there. Does anyone have any experience with any of the local MTB parks, eg Eagle Park or Lynton? Are they easy to get to from the CBD? What are the trails like? Can we rent bikes? Any input appreciated.
