Pretty dry today - just a few small puddles here and there. Devlin's Creek Track is still closed between Pennant Hills Firetrail and Whale Rock for bridgework.

Red Hill Saturday Morning
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.
I'll be riding Red Hill tomorrow morning at 8. Not planning on breaking any records, just a casual ride taking in all the usual highlights and whatever anyone else is interested in.
I'll be on the bright green Specialized with white wheels.

Manly Dam update for 04 Nov
Many water filled holes to slow you down(especially the start of the allambie downhill section) but not totally un-rideable. The creek have more water than usual.
Finally able to do all the tech downhills without getting off the bike or going over the handlebars Now just have to work on those hills

Mt Annan Garden Track
Hey guys,
Any body interested in hitting Mount Annan about 2-30 or 3 tomorrow let me know.

Swapping forks
Hi guys, need your advice again.
My trusted old Reba Team has packed it in and with 2 big races (Fling and Awaba) coming up I can't wait for the replacement/massive upgrade fork to arrive. Now, my lovely wife has agreed to lend me her Fox RL 32 from her commuter bike, but I need to put the Reba on her bike until then (still works as a rigid in lockout mode)
To get to the point - do I need to swap the crown races over (which I believe you need a fancy tool for) or is this a pretty straight forward operation?

Terrey Hills update for 03 Nov
From Japanese School to end on Long, very wet in places. Large puddles one has to ride through. Once you get over the top of that bugger of a hill towards end of Long, it's very dry. Bike & me muddy but that's what MTBikes are for.

Lefty Platform Damping Upgrade
Was talking with Aiden at RLCSport.com.au a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that on the PBR Leftys they provide a tuning service to firm up the slow-speed damping circuit to limit the bob on out-of-saddle pedalling. Apparently they do it on all their race bikes.
Am thinking about getting it done on my hardtail, which needs to have a fork service. Just wondering if anybody has had this done and what they thought about the results?
