Manly Damn Entry/Starting point

Hi,
Is there a starting point of the Manly Damn trail near closer to Allambie Road ?
I was thinking of starting the trail for the first time here at the attached picture.

I work in French's Forest so a pre-work ride is do-able.

cheers,
MB

Send in Submissions to Lake Parramatta Draft Plan of Management

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I saw a great idea on Rotorburn - if you send an e-mail, mail in a copy as well.
It will make sure that Parramatta Council gets your submission, especially if you have made some serious effort to discuss the issues.

If you are one of the guys doing a petition, make sure that you keep a photocopy of it (original must go to Council), particularly if you mail it in.
If you've got access to a fax, you can also try faxing an extra copy to them but mark that as "COPY".

Withdrawn: Richey 34.9 WCS Carbon Seatpost - brand new

Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Price:
100.00

This is a brand new unused Richey WCS carbon seat post. 34.9 x 400 mm. Yes I was a goose and ordered the wrong size - Scott changed their seat post diameter for my model.

I paid $153 from CRC. My price is negotiable and will become more negotiable if it takes too long to sell.

Cascades update for 29 Sep

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Boggy... Felt like riding through wet sand... Because I was! Rode 4 Gates so hit the entire trail.

Glad to get out for a mid week ride although it was about as wet as I've ridden Cascades. Perhaps the wind will dry it out a bit.

If there is anymore rain I'd give it a miss.

Red Hill update for 29 Sep

Area:
Red Hill
Status:
Red/Closed

Hi,
new to this site and new to Red Hill track. Went on Sunday 25th in the pouring rain. It was like swimming in the rain...you forget tis there when you get into it. Was riding through rivers of water pretty much up to our knees. Some rocks were a little dodgie to go down with the gushing water. one of the most awesome rides i have ever done.
