Withdrawn: Thule 757 Foot Pack

Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Price:
75.00

I've purchased a new car, so have a set of Thule 757's (Pack of 4 x feet). These are for cars with factory fitted roof rails.

For more details take a look here: http://www.mainpeak.com.au/paddle/118894.html

I think these retail for approx. $180, so if I could get $75 for them I'd be happy (there good as new, only 6-months old).

Finally made it

Date:
21 Aug 11

Every time I've done this I've never had the legs. Finally today I did it without putting a foot down Smiling

Not part of this challenge but I actually rode from the creek all the way up Ingar without stops so pretty stoked with today's efforts.

Lap 2 on the below profile.

Mountain Bikers and Wilderness zones

Poaching the link from rotorbrun

An interesting read about mountain bikers and wilderness.

A bit of back ground Wilderness zones in the USA are currently no go for anything but self powered exploration. For some reason MTb falls outside this and is considered mechanical transport (“propelled by a nonliving power source.) however horse riding is allowed.

In NSW wilderness zones are similarly self powered. MTB is allowed on official maintenance trails and other trails (We're talking fire trail here)with the expressed permission from the Head ranger/

Dargle 12 Hour

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

When Craig asked me to be part of a masters team for the 12 hours I didn't really know what to expect. I had only done one teams event before and we didn't actually "race" that event as we were all there to support my brother in the 24hr worlds. Getting closer to the race it was clear that we had a pretty strong masters team and if things went well would have a shot at the podium.

Manly Dam update for 20 Aug

Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Quite wet down to the 19th hole (large puddles), but everything up to it is fine. Some puddles on single track that goes past golf course, but not as bad as 19th. If you want to get quite wet and muddy go, but if you want to not get wet and muddy, whilst also preserve the trail, I'd stay away.
