Lake Parramatta

Can anybody advise what street contains the most northerly spot you can drop into the Lake Parramatta Reserve (or any linked bushland)? I did a wet weather ride along the M2 detour cycle way recently and now realise that the cycle way along North Rocks Rd runs alongside the Reserve. I'm hoping that it mightn't be too far to link the top end of Devlin's Ck track in LCNP with Lake Parramatta for a mainly dirt ride one day - that's if it ever gets dry enough for me to want to ride off road again....

Blackbutt Reserve update for 30 Jun

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Walked it today. Still plenty of water seeping onto and along the track, but the bits in between are firming up. It's fire trail so you can't do much damage, except to your drive train. Some more "roughcreting" been done very recently, this time on the offshoot from the bottom that links up with Lady Game Drive.

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Manly Dam Trail Works Update: June '11 Description

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

As discussed in the previous update on 27/6/11 the Manly Dam rangers arranged for a meeting at the dam to look at sheduled works on the Allambie side.

Overview

NoBMob and Manly Warringah club reps took a few hours off work to meet yesterday afternoon until well after dark to talk over the area commonly known as the 19th hole and a section near Cootamundra Drive. One of these reps was our own in house riding Geomorphologist (expert on soil erosion and design solutions).

The main points of discussion were:
