Terrey Hills update for 10 Jan
WNational Park Wet weather trail closures
Due to the heavy, consistent rainfall this week I would like to advise that all trails in Garigal and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Parks will remain closed to all but emergency response traffic throughout next week, until at least 17th January, to allow sufficient time for drainage and drying out. The Bantry Bay cycle tracks are also closed for obvious reasons. If conditions change next week and you would like any clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks.

Terrey Hills update for 10 Jan
Wet wet wet, but if your desperate and hate your drive chain (like me apparently) it is rideable. Ok I only rode from Boorigal road to the end of Cowan and back. Lots of goannas today and one enormous one who wouldn't even get off the track. Multiple unavoidable bogs. Cowan was pretty dry, I really like the Cowan, lots of little climbs and rocks. Can't type any more I'm busy for the rest of the day cleaning and lubing..

Ourimbah State Forest update for 10 Jan
Heavy rain on the east coast for the last week. Show your appreciation for the trail fairies' hard work and stay off the trails.
Might be a good day to something constructive instead like ride to Roads Minister Duncan Gay's place and tell him he's a f*wit.

Canberra this weekend
Hi all Canberra people
I am heading down from newy this arvo after work to visit a non-mountain biking mate.
What has the weather been like down there this week? I've always wanted to check out stromlo or sparrow hill, is it worth bringing the bike, given the amount of rain we have had lately?
