Carbon Frame Re-Painting

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a rather nice 2nd hand carbon road bike but the paints have seen better days especially around the chainstays where the are a few chips.

Anyone know what the ballpark figure is for a good re-paint job and if anyone can recommend a good mob that will that sort of work around the Sydney area ?
I don't need any fancy paint job a single color will probably do me just fine.

Thanks,
Mario

The Oaks update for 20 Jan

Area:
The Oaks
Status:
Green/Open

The fire trail is currently in very good condition. Both upper and lower sections of single trail are also very good. A couple of small puddles here and there but nothing of concern from a safety or trail erosion point of view.
(Reminder, please don't endanger others by riding up the single trail sections against the flow of traffic).

Lane Cove National Park update for 20 Jan

Status:
Green/Open

Trails are patchy. Wherever there is usually water there is still lots of it. Best to give Devlins a miss for a few more days as it is the worst. Main trail is OK, but pretty wet just up from Browns Waterhole.

Manly Dam update for 20 Jan

Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

The description from c3po last week is about where its back to after the rain last week as follows( too lazy to recreate the message).Overall good to ride but a few issues:
The first bit of single trail after the shared fire trail that leads down to the drop off before Cootamundra Reserve is quite wet (19th hole?). There's also a low overhanging branch at the start of this single trail.
On the golf course sniggle - fair bit of water on the A & B line rock drop offs and just before the lookout.
Creek crossing wet as expected.
All else is great. Apart from the creek crossing hopefully everything will clear up by the weekend.

Red Hill update for 20 Jan

Area:
Red Hill
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Heading out from Lady Penryhn Dr the fire trail to the start of the single trails is mostly dry - the one big puddle at the top. The single trails (Strava: Dirty Sanchez-dry, Dizzy-dry, Berm Single Trail - some puddles)are dry up top of red hill with the exception of a couple of puddles. The Rim/Perimeter trail is 80% dry, just small wet sections where water runs down the cetnre of the trail and a couple of the usual puddles on the main trail approach to Mr Motocross. With continued hot weather any remaining puddles will dry quickly.

Cascades update for 20 Jan

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Went for first night 2016 ride last night. Down Heath is very rocky and loose and some very large rocks to negotiate. Quite cut up and rutted in places. Lotsa standing water covering whole track in many places. Some deep gouges in puddles to be careful of. Couple of trees down on track but can ride around. Lots of orb spiders at head level to be eaten. Some sand drifts. Creeks are flowing more than usual. But great night to ride. Get out there but take care.

New to Town

Hey everyone -
Thought I would introduce myself!
Just moved to the Northern Beaches from Vancouver, Canada back in January. Recently married and purchased a company out of Mona Vale so my stay is permanent.

Picked up a new Specialized Camber 29 and looking to get out on the trails.

New to the area and haven't had a chance to meet any new people yet. Would love to get out on the trails and meet some new people.

Feel free to send me a note if anyone would like to head out and have some fun on the bikes.

Cheers

Jason
