Single Track Mind 8hr Enduro Round 1 Lidsdale

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Good fun out at Lithgow for the first round of the Single Track Mind series.
Teamed up with a mate in the Pairs Category and apart from a rear shock failure on my 2nd lap which slowed me up by about 5 mins it was pretty smooth sailing the whole day. Big thankyou to Lifecycles who fixed up the shock enough to get me through the day.
Track was fun, not congested at all and everyone was behaving themselves with passing/being passed.
Ended up with 14 laps (7 each) for a total of 140km.
12th in our category which wa a good effort considering most of the teams above us were sponsored riders.

Pine Creek

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I rode Pine Creek recently and thought I would try to fill in some further (limited) trail details. The comments below are subject to what I found and rode – I did not ride all I found. I spent 3.5 hrs riding in what can only be described as a maze of trails. There are so many pieces of single/narrow track it was hard to work out where you were going next. I used a system of placing ‘stick arrows’ at junctions to help me keep track – trust me they were useful and stopped me repeating trails. I only repeated 1 trail – but that was a deliberate choice as I knew where I would end up.

iPhone Developer Wanted

I'm looking for an iPhone developer to build a game for me. Anyone do this or know someone who does. Keen to not go to one of these outsourced shops in India and would rather a recommendation.

No church at Dirtworks

...just a reminder that we DO NOT have access to either the Church OR ANY of its facilities this year.

Hope everyone enjoys the race!

Long Trail and Return new PB

Date:

Stoked close to 4 mins off my previous time - I salute Rob et al ahead of me as I don't think there is much left as I was out of the saddle for chunks to get that time.

Dirtworks - transport

Morning all, is anyone aware of a shuttle service or similar running out to St Albans on the saturday before Dirtworks? I know it's a long shot but I thought maybe the bloke who runs the Canberra trips may have been considering it. For various reasons I would prefer not to take the car.

Round 4 done and not very dusty

Track was perfect today, nice and tacky mostly everywhere. Happy with the 1:37 mins in light of the lack of training recently, I don't think that is far off my old times. It was good to get some hill training done after the race as well.

Well done to Steve and Gazza for a nobmob 1, 2. Sorry I wasn't around to make it a 3 as well, but this is one hellish competitive race Smiling
