Wanted: WTB Highland Fling entry (100km)
Hi there,
does anyone have a ticket they would like to offload? despite the wild horizons website saying that entries are open, I've found out that they're actually not open anymore.

Lane Cove National Park update for 02 Nov
Rode from Brown's Waterhole to Day Rd.
After last night's rain there is a little water flowing over the creek crossings and a couple more puddles, but otherwise pretty dry.

Terrey Hills update for 01 Nov
Rode from Nerang to end of Long and back.
Still a couple of puddles from Nerang to the schools turnoff, but they were readily negotiable and only two that were too long to manual over. The seemingly endless quagmire had finally dried out.
The rest of the trail is quite dry, loose in places, and I ended my run of wins in being able to climb up the Long Track pinch climb without spinning a wheel. Being on the slacker geometry AM tank probably didn't help, but I probably didn't attack the first part with enough gusto either.
Hopefully the rain forecast this week won't signal the return of the Nerang bog.
After being sedentary all week after tweaking my back last weekend it was bloody good to get out in the bush and spin the legs over.

Ready for the Fling.
Went out yesterday morning to have a race prep crack at 3 laps. Went through the first lap in 26.45 and was going strong on lap two - until a chainring bolt worked it's way loose and my chainring just came off! I packed up and went home a little cranky.
Not satisfied I went out again today to try and just do the two laps. It was pretty hot and I had a little bit of yesterday in my legs, but I wanted to have a go anyway.
