Lane Cove National Park update for 21 Oct
Rode through from Gloucester Ave to the top of Devlins this arvo. Must have missed most of yesterday's rain because Devlins was the driest I've seen it for a long while. Until it started raining that is. By the time I was back down at Brown's Waterhole dry had become tacky, tacky damp and damp was getting moist. Doesn't look like there has been much more rain so should stay OK. De Burgh's bridge entrance and climb up to Yanko Rd was also fine, through there are a couple of trees / branches down which you might need to be careful of if bombing downhill.

Just a quick message to thank everyone that helped me get to the ambulance on Saturday at the Dam. Marius and Jason, thanks guys and same to the local guy who stored my bike in his house, I really appreciate the help. Post op recovery and therapy then hopefully back into it!
East Coast Titles @ Greenvalleys MTB Park 24th and 25th October
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Registration are open for the East Coast titles 2015.
This year we will be also running Cross Country and Flow as well as Downhill as part of the 2 day event.
We will also be holding a whip off competition on the Saturday night.
Ticket sales close 22/10/15 at 5:00pm.
There will only be limited tickets available on the weekend.
Please check all ticket options before entering.
Program:
Saturday am: Flow and DH practice
Saturday pm: Flow racing and DH practice
Saturday night: Whip off competition
Sunday am: XC racing and DH practice
Sunday pm: DH racing
Rotorua/MTB holiday advice
It is common knowledge that in order for one to call himself a mountain biker (particularly in Australia), he must make a pilgrimage to Rotorua at least once in his lifetime. Hence when I consider the need for a MTB holiday between the completion of my internship at Christmas and the start of my final year at uni in March, this is naturally my destination in mind.
Cascades update for 18 Oct
Take it easy descending the steeper part of Heath Track. With the recent rains the downslope sides of the waterbars are covered in babyhead rocks.
The rest is good.
Perfect riding weather today. Some moisture in the trails but just enough to firm up the sandy sections.

Generally dry. A few puddles here and there but nothing to worry about. There was a serious accident just past 19th Hole today, so be aware on the trails.

Manly Dam update for 17 Oct
Rode Manly Dam this morning (17 Oct), all dry except usual bog after Curl Curl Creek. New sign pictures attached. Ohh Look at that, Dirt Nights sign as well, sounds like a fun night. Last Tuesday of the Month... so that is 27th October.

Withdrawn: Highland Fling Entry
My wife is unable to compete in the Highland Fling race this year so we are selling here entry. Full fling entry for the half fling price.
