Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.

I have been there a few times and know some bits, but there is always the oportunity to know more, that is a nice way to say i get lost and discover new tracks from time to time, more often than i would like to admit 
Stromlo Forest Park update for 05 Nov
Two small mud patches over the twenty three k's i rode last night , some of the rutted sections on Blue Gums ?? have been filled in also .
Not as dusty as it has been also , plenty of roos AND there was a group of four climbing at 10 pm as i was heading to the car as well as a few small groups earlier too . Blood red full moon at around 9.30 made for a surreal , if not scarey hoot back to the car

Lake Parramata (almost) Mid week

The day is fixed, the time may be later if it is too hot or I get late in some stuff i need to do before getting on the bike. It is a technical single track around the lake, and some more where i have not been but i was told about.
Red hill ride direction
Can anybody tell me the best direction to ride the red hill trails?....i have been up there and still yet to work out where i shound be going!
So far i have headed from the plateau at the carpark down past the bmx track and then along a longish downhill section eventually ending up next to the rural fire station on willandra road. I was told that i coould then rejoin the trail by cromer golf coarse and head back that way. Anyway, it would be appreciated if somebody could tell me the best loop to do in the area with a bit of freeride thrown in!?

Highland Fling - Your Call - What's the fastest option?
In the final stage of the Fling there is a climb called "your call" with two options - short and steep or longer and less steep. I'm thinking I'll go for the short steep option. Does anyone else have advice on this?
