MTBA Fees

If your going to do the odd race can you sign up for the Rec. Membership or do I need the Senior Membership?

Also is it worth it or should I just pay the one off $15 per event if I'm only going to do 4 or 5 races?

Cheers
Chris

Its now all go with the official web site now up check it out here http://solo24hour.com.au/ .

Ok the race is almost upon us and we have quite a bit of nobmob interest and it looks like we should have a large contingent competing and supporting so it should be an awesome weekend. If you are going to enter hopefully you have been training your arse off if not you have a little more time to get organised but definitely not too much so get on that bike and go riding and if you don’t feel like a ride its called training so get out there and do some.

Shock pressures

Is there any guide to what pressures to put in the front and rear shock

I'm riding a Yukon FX and weigh about 80kgs, mainly riding the dam.

Where Was Your Bike Made

Saw a link to this on Farkin.

It confirms what a lot of us already thought. It would seem that more of us are probably riding Giants than you would suspect.

MTB: Lactate threshold (LT) training...

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Found an interesting article on lactate threshold (LT) training.

I'm not seeing myself as an athlete (far from it), but I've been watching my heart rate more carefully over the last few rides. I've also started to read up on "best" heart rate range for my age, especially since I've watched my HR staying in the high 180's for > 20 mins during extended climbs on the recent Ourimbah night ride...
