Tough Fun

This race certainly lived up to the billing (from punters) as best race of the year. For Sydney siders of technical riding persuasion this is surely the case as it's only an hour up the road and while Can'bra tracks are smooth and flowing Ourimbah also has a nice dollop of technical stuff to keep everyone on their toes. The work done by the local club on the track is awesome - in the Graveyard especially which now has some nice berms.

Terry Hills Adventure Plus.

When:
Wednesday, 26 November, 2008 - 18:55

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Terrey Hills / Duffys Forest
Meeting Point:

Terry Hills Tavern carpark (high side next to bottle shop).

OK... we have worked out with this new course that if we leave around 7:00 and peddle like there is no tomorrow we can get back to the Tavern at around 8:50 ready for a meal, as the food orders stop at 9:00 sharp as the bitch at the counter advised me last week.

This was destined to be a great days riding and Ourimbah didn't disappoint, despite the dodgy weather and cold start. The work that has been done to the track is substantial since I last rode here, this track just gets better and better. What is surprising is it's even better after some rain as we found out later. I finally managed to get team Mantoast together, with Craig and Gary joining up.

More good service

You have to love walking into the LBS (Cranks in North Sydney in this case) for a brake bleed and walking out 5 mins later with it all done despite the 3 customers/3 staff already in there when you arrive.

Thanks guys! Smiling

Yes, yes, must get an Avid kit, but the 7's I have are now about 18 months old, still perfect, never bled.
