My new ride. Intense Spider 29

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Just finished building this up. Had a bit of a play in the back lane and the park at the end of the lane and first impressions are great, looking forward to hitting the dirt Sunday morning. I'll get some decent pics then too (with clean wheels!).

Richie Porte pays it forward

A good story about making a contribution. Some interesting takeouts about development opportunities for mountain bikers in there too.

Always love a good 4 Gates: 11:23, 28:00, 39:27

Date:
29 May 14
Challenge:
Cascades - Four Gates

Felt slower than previous PB and had 30 seconds stops at top of Quarry, Acron & Stone. I think I have a sub 1 hour in me so will be focusing on that now.

Cascades update for 29 May

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Green/Open

Watch out for sandy corners... not as bad as it can get in Summer but it is quite dry. Rode 4 Gates so all trails in the valley and everywhere is looking good!

Price:
500.00

Up for sale is a bike composed of various parts including a Specialized Epic frame (I think it is a size S but I need to confirm this with Specialized via the serial number) with the first generation Brain rear shock, a 2006 Rock Shox Reba SL fork and parts from a 2005 Kona Cinder Cone. The bike was assembled in 2006 and was mostly ridden from 2006 to 2008. It was in storage from 2010 until last month.

I'm a former employee of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and I just want to draw a few comparisons from my experiences at Council meetings.
