Too busy NOT to train
I feel as though I've been run over by a cement mixer this semester with my load of university work. This is due to having happened to have chosen subjects that are a) badly taught, b) have lots of work or c) are difficult. No semester in an electrical engineering degree is straightforward but this one for me has made life more difficult and hectic than I ever guessed. Every minute of the day must be spent wisely so that the rate of having assignments set doesn't greatly exceed the rate that I am completing them.
Well, most minutes.

Lane Cove National Park update for 31 Mar
Rode from Day Rd to Brown's Waterhole today and it wasn't too bad, despite last nights storm. There were a few puddles about, and the water flowing across the crossings was up to 10 - 15 cm deep, but no other areas of water running or lying across the track.

Trail is good even after recent rain. Technical section of the single track is closed due to maintenance work.

Absa Cape Epic - Stage 6 Highlights
Looked like a lot of fun on the last day 
Local team SXC Racing's Wayne was riding solo after Brian's mishap earlier in the week. There's a load of guys in the same boat and he placed third in the Masters Individuals on this stage. And actually, same in overall GC in that category.
Top effort Wayne! Stay upright next year boys and you should be top 20 easy!

Short Circuit Cancer charity ride
After a wet and soggy week in Sydney this event was in real danger of being postponed. However we got the word on Friday that, after consultation with NPWS, the event would go ahead as planned which was great news and finally broke my run of bad luck I had of entering events and having them not go ahead due to, in the first instance, horrendous fires last October for the Kanangra Classic, and then more recently the awaba rocky trail 4hr at the start of the month due to over 120mm of rain two days before.
Berowra Heights - Wideview Road to Turner Road Loop update for 30 Mar
Well maybe not after tonights rain. Did some exploring there this morning, found some fun single trails that looped around the ridge of Berowra Heights, some fun drop offs and pinch climbs as well.
