Rode this arvo. A few puddles in usual places but mostly are avoidable.

Do you have more information?

I don't live on the Northern Beaches but Red Hill normally suffers after some decent rain. And after the recent soakings we've had my way I would have thought it would be utterly saturated up there……?

When you say the puddles can be avoided, do you mean go around? The reason I ask is that going around puddles is not a habit to develop as it will widen the track. Ive seen sections of single track go from being under a meter wide to over 3 meters wide in some areas after one winter due to people riding around puddles.

If the puddles are off to the side and don't require a detour, and the terrain is firm and there is little to no running water then great.

Cheers.

I was up at red hill walking my dog yesterday and its wet as at the moment ... Not sure what area you rode but it was really wet down the bottom section above cromer road ... I went and rode west head as it was too wet at red hill from what I could tell

Its red hill. The place has been destroyed by motos so I don't think that puddle go arounds are an issue
