Orange/Kinross this weekend?

Hello All,

I'll be in Orange this weekend and would love it if someone would like to show me around Kinross State Forest. I won't have a car but could ride out to the trail head and meet there.

Ebay cree lights

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi there,

Considering some cheap ebay lights. Considering the three solarstorm ones.

Has anyone tried these and can compare them? Which one has the better beam spread? Any difference between the flat and round design? How do they feel when mounted on the helmet? Probably all three will be bright enough but want the one with a better spread of light.

Also saw this one for the helmet

Don't forget to look out for SXC Racing. They were there in the first wave. Wayne wrote they averaged 40km/h for the first 20km. Ouch!

Withdrawn: Jet black trainer

Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Price:
100.00

Jet Black Magnetic M1 trainer for sale. I already have one of these and have no need for a second trainer. Trainer is great for those rainy winter days that are fast approaching. The trainer is brand new in the box unopened. Looking for $100 which is roughly 2/3 the cost of a new trainer.

Willo @ Wingello

Made a late call go down to Wingello on Sunday morning for this, as they were taking late entrants on the day.

Decided to use it as a learning process with the new HRM in a race situation, so went with the Garmin HR zones easily visible on the screen. Spent much of the first lap in zone 5, including hitting 6 a couple of times on the climbs. I didn't think there was a 6! I hadn't been able to get there on the only real training ride I had been on with the HRM, despite putting in a few hard (albeit short) efforts on hills.

Having a blast @ the Willo

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I did the Willo back in 2012 a week after the convict when I'd had a fairly big stack and was still feeling the effects. The time that day was 2hrs 50 so I was hoping for an improvement on that.

Awesome Day in the Southern Highlands

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

After beating last year’s result by nearly 40min in the Capital Punishment last weekend I was looking forward to similar today at the Willo. While I've only been back on the bike for 6 weeks after a 2 month layoff I was feeling positive.

I haven’t ridden since last weekend’s race as I was travelling for work but chose to get lots of sleep rather than do the hotel trainer thing. Last night I was in bed at 9 and punching great zzz until my son came in at 11 then a few hours later my daughter joined him and we had 3 of the 4 of us coughing and spluttering through the night. Grrrrr
