Duck Hole/Terrey Hills Trail update for 07 Mar
Has dried out quite well. Damp here and there but no issues. Amber alert for wallabies, the usual near misses from wallabies bounding in from the acreage estates.

Bike is converted to tubeless and has a near new Ikon up front and Crossmark on back.

Hey, anyone had experience running Racing Ralph Evo version tubeless on Stan's Arch 29er rims?
Not so worried about the front tire, more the rear picking up sidewall damage or rolling off... There's not much to those sidewalls! Would it be safer to opt for the snakeskin variety on the back?

I've not ridden it, but it was declared open by the Hornsby MTB twitter account earlier today. There was also a polite reminder to stay off the stage 2 trails while they are being constructed.

WSMTB XC Round 2
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
All riders are welcome at Round 2 of the WSMTB XC series for 2014. At Yellomundee RP on Sunday 13 April.
U10s at 8.30am, U13s at 9.00am, and U15s and Seniors at 9.30am. Rego for all from 8am to 8.45am sharp (so we can get the U13s away on time).

Manly Dam update for 05 Mar
Really not too bad... considering all the recent rain. puddles in the usual spots but all very avoidable.
biggest obstacle was a yabby right when i went through the bottom at the creek crossing!!
